I am an IT Service Manager in my day job, working for a medium sized company in the housing sector.

I have a BSc in Internet Computing, an MSc in Computing and Information systems.

Inspired by my Dad, IT and computer science have been interests of mine from an early age, building my first computer when I was a teenager.

I am originally from a town called Bewdley in Worcestershire, but have lived in Liverpool for the last 10 years.

I have played chess for many years to a high standard, currently playing for Prescott & Knotty Ash, Worcestershire and holding an ECF rating of just over 2000.

Other then chess, my hobbies include, golf, reading, football (up the baggies!) gaming, and running.
